ErpeCream® Completes European Regulatory Notification Process

European and UK notifications establish the commercial foundation for market expansion while supporting ACS Biomed's long-term pharmaceutical development strategy.

ACS Produzioni Biomed S.r.l. (“ACS Biomed”), an Italian biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative topical solutions for Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) infections, has successfully completed the European regulatory notification process for ErpeCream®, representing an important milestone in the company's international commercial strategy.

ErpeCream® has been notified through the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, while also completing the corresponding United Kingdom product notification required for post-Brexit commercialization. Together, these notifications provide the regulatory basis for the commercial distribution of ErpeCream® throughout the European Union and the United Kingdom.

This achievement reflects ACS Biomed's commitment to developing innovative healthcare products that combine scientific research, regulatory compliance and commercial scalability, while supporting the company's broader vision of becoming an internationally recognised biotechnology company.

Regulatory Foundation for European Markets

Completion of the European and UK notification procedures enables ErpeCream® to be supplied through pharmacies, healthcare distributors, wholesalers, retail partners and e-commerce channels operating across multiple European jurisdictions.

For ACS Biomed, obtaining these notifications represents more than regulatory compliance. It establishes a solid commercial foundation from which the company can expand its distribution network while demonstrating its ability to operate successfully within one of the world's most highly regulated healthcare markets.

The European regulatory framework also provides an important reference point for the company's ongoing international expansion into Latin America and other strategic territories.

Expanding Commercial Opportunities

Following the successful notification of ErpeCream®, ACS Biomed is actively seeking new commercial partners to strengthen distribution throughout the United Kingdom and selected European markets.

The company is evaluating opportunities with distributors and healthcare organisations capable of supporting the continued growth of the current dermocosmetic product, while also laying the foundations for the future commercialisation of the pharmaceutical formulation currently under clinical development.

This dual commercial approach reflects ACS Biomed's long-term strategy of building sustainable market presence today while preparing for the next stage of product development.

Supporting the Pharmaceutical Development Strategy

While ErpeCream® is currently available as a dermocosmetic product, ACS Biomed continues to advance its broader pharmaceutical development programme through ongoing clinical and regulatory activities.

The company is actively engaged in discussions with prospective commercial, licensing and strategic pharmaceutical partners to support the future development and international commercialisation of its proprietary HSV technology platform.

By combining an established commercial product with a structured pharmaceutical development programme, ACS Biomed aims to create a platform capable of generating value across both consumer healthcare and prescription medicine markets.

The successful completion of the European notification process therefore represents not only an important regulatory milestone, but also another step towards the company's long-term objective of establishing international partnerships and expanding the global reach of its innovative HSV portfolio.
